On December 17, school pupils from Shida Kartli, Kakheti, Adjara and Tbilisi presented case studies on waste management challenges and solutions from their local communities to representatives from the NGO sector, schoolteachers and entrepreneurs.
In total, 4 groups with 4 case studies presented on the following issues: waste management challenges and possible solutions, reducing and recycling waste in Tbilisi and the regions, circular economy, and the youth’s role in waste management.
The pupils worked on the aforementioned case studies intensively with WMTR II program representatives on 15-16 December at the Bulachauri Green Center.
During the Summit, guests and pupils had the chance to meet each other and provide feedback to one another.
