Training of Trainers in WASH

On 24-26 July, CENN organized Training of Trainers (ToT) in Tbilisi for 15 municipality representatives (Kakheti, Imereti, Kvemo Kartli) of Georgia.

The training participants received information on WASH technologies, water infrastructure management, WASH training program planning, analysis and implementation. The training included field visits where the participants observed modern water distribution and treatment technologies.

At the end of the training, each participant is now able to correctly resolve problems of WaSH (water, sanitation, hygiene) in their respective municipality.

The trained trainers will carry out similar teachings in their municipalities.

The main goal of the project is to promote health care and living conditions for socially vulnerable multi-ethnic communities, prevent discrimination, establish access to water and WASH standards through stakeholder involvement.

The project “Upscaling WASH Initiatives by Providing Essential Social Services for Women and Youth in Disadvantaged Rural Communities of Georgia” is implemented by CENN with financial support provided by the New World Programme, established by the Global Water Challenge (GWC) and the Coca Cola Foundation (TCCF)
