EU & CENN Invite Young People to Participate in the Online Meetup Cycle on Planning and Managing Environmental & Youth-oriented Campaigns

CENN, with the support of the European Union, as part of the newly initiated green entrepreneurship transboundary youth platform, announces an open call for Georgian youth to participate in the educational course cycle on implementing environmental and youth-oriented regional campaigns.

The online course cycle aims to empower young people and enhance their knowledge of environmental communication and youth mobilization in order to promote youth activism at the regional level. The online meetup cycle will be open for Georgian (from Gori, Akhmeta, Ninotsminda) and Armenian (from Lori, Tavush, Shirak) youth, who are willing to join the green entrepreneurship transboundary youth platform and become active participants in upcoming youth opportunities in Georgia and Armenia.

Within the first initiative of the platform – the online meetup cycle – the students will be able to learn more about the importance of an impact-oriented campaign, youth involvement and mobilization techniques, development and maintenance of various communication content, advocacy, and stakeholder relations.

The meetup cycle will take place from March 1-10, via ZOOM. Young people aged 14-29 living in the municipalities of Gori, Akhmeta, and Ninotsminda can apply. Those wishing to participate must fill out the application form and express their willingness to become a part of the youth platform by February 28, 2022 at the following link: https://forms.gle/cz4iW111z7BrALQw8

The activity is powered by the Green Entrepreneurship Transboundary Youth Platform, which aims to foster transboundary cooperation between Georgian and Armenian youth by creating an innovative, youth-development-oriented network. The platform has been created within the EU-funded regional project “EU4Youth: Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development (SEED) for Green Growth”, which is implemented by CENN in partnership with KRDF in Georgia and Green Lane NGO in Armenia. The project empowers disadvantaged youth in Georgia and Armenia to successfully transition from education to work through developing their Social Entrepreneurship and Green Innovation skills.
