Water rehabilitation works were successfully implemented in Tsutskhvati, Imereti region, which was carried out within the GWC-WASH 2 grants competition.
In the village of Tsutskhvati, there was a long-standing problem with drinking water supply. After the implementation of the project, in addition to the local public school, the problem of drinking water was solved in the village administration, kindergarten and a health center.
The school community (management, teachers and parents), as well as the mayor’s office of Tkibuli municipality actively participated in the implementation of this project.
The goal of the “WASH Initiative for Socially Vulnerable Women and Children Living in Rural Georgia” is to help improve the health and living conditions of vulnerable and multi-national communities in Georgia.
The project – “WASH Initiative for Socially Vulnerable Women and Children Living in Rural Georgia” – is being implemented by CENN within the New World Programme (NWP), which is financially supported by the Global Water Challenge and the Coca-Cola Foundation (TCCF).
