On June 27, CENN with the financial support of HEKS-EPER, organised a field day at the demonstration plots located in Marneuli municipality’s village of Maradisi.
The event was implemented on the 27th of July at the base of 2 demonstration plots 1) a demonstration greenhouse for seedling production of cooperative “Green Maradisi” and 2) a demonstration plot on an open field.
Around 40 participants from Marneuli municipality and beneficiaries of Kvemo Kartli women association “Woman and the World” (1) explored the greenhouse built with modern standards and equipment; (2) learned about the modern methods of seedling production and (3) obtained knowledge about open field climate-resilient agricultural practices.
The demonstration plot on an open field is implemented by CENN and Cartlis agrosystems jointly.
The field day was organized within the “Resilient Agriculture – PRAISE Marneuli” project implemented by CENN with the financial support of HEKS-EPER. The overall objective of the project is to support income generation opportunities for vulnerable populations in Marneuli municipality through the development and promotion of environmentally friendly and climate-resilient agricultural (CRA) practices.
